The Short Story, Start to Finish

A self-paced course in writing and revising one complete story

by Hina Farooq · Novelist, author of The Tide Clerk

The Short Story, Start to Finish
Twelve video lessons, each with a reading and a writing exercise, that take you through the whole life of a short story: finding the idea, choosing a point of view, opening scenes, writing emotion through objects, dialogue, endings and three rounds of revision. Includes the annotated stories I use in my workshops and a revision checklist. Work at your own pace; most students finish in six to eight weeks.
